OccuPaws Guide Dog Association

Our recipients do not have to leave home, family and employment to learn how to use their dog. OccuPaws was formed in 2005. We are one of 12 Guide Dog Schools in the United States that is accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation and Assistance Dogs International. This means that veterans who receive dogs from OccuPaws has the VA pay for their dog's medical expenses. This is very important to the veterans who are often on limited incomes.

OccuPaws Guide Dogs is a volunteer-based 501 (c)(3) which provides Guide Dogs at no cost to the blind of Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota and Northern Illinois. We provide these dogs through an in-home training program.
