United Disabilities Services Foundation

UDSF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with a long history of providing excellent care to people in need. We carry out our mission – enhancing abilities and changing lives on a daily basis. Recognized as one of the leading human services providers for programs and services in the state for people with disabilities, UDSF is committed to improving people’s lives creating new and innovative ways to make a difference to help our neighbors in need. Every day, UDSF is mission focused to help individuals to live independently through our 14 different programs and services in central Pennsylvania. We envision a community where all lives are valued….a community where we support and take care of each other. We envision a supportive community where individuals with disabilities receive ALL of the support they need to live their best life. UDSF works to do just that for our community.

For nearly 60 years, UDSF positioned itself to help people with disabilities life independently in the community. We have developed a wide variety of services and programs that improve quality of life and expand boundaries. UDSF provides a variety of programs and services through our six subsidiaries: • UDS Clinical Operations, which includes HCBS Care Management, Adult Autism Care Management, and Advanced Care Management Solutions. • Construction Services, which includes Accessible Home Modifications, Accessible Affordable Housing, and Accessible Solutions Brokerage. • Accessing Independence which provides in-home nonmedical personal care through Independent Living Services (ILS) and Adult Enrichment, a life skills day program. • UDS Direct Services, which includes Challenger Football and Cheerleading, Employment Services, and Transition School. • UDS Home Medical Equipment LLC (dba: Mobility Equipment and Custom Seating) provides custom power wheelchairs with specialty controls, specialized mobility equipment, or a customized seating system to improve quality of life. • Non-Profit Management Solutions (NPMS), which includes Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, the Resource Center, and Marketing Our programs and services provide full inclusion of people with disabilities into all aspects of life and areas of society. In addition, due to the phenomenal growth of the senior population, we provide services which guarantees the safety and well-being of folks aging in their homes. UDSF also supports the stability of the family unit, provides valued social roles for people with disabilities and contributes to the community in meaningful ways
