Who We Are

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and the meals are shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world. Each meal costs about 25¢ to produce. Feed My Starving Children provides life-saving meals to people from countries affected by natural disasters to places enduring economic despair through missionary partnerships at orphanages, schools, clinics, refugee camps and malnourishment centers.

What We Do

Each place that hosts a FMSC mobile pack (food is brought to the area to have volunteers measure, seal, and pack the food that has been created by scientist to provide the nutrients needed on a daily basis to prevent starvation) has to raise a set amount of money to pay for the food that is packed. This year, the Southwest area of Wisconsin, held in Boscobel, needs to raise $80,000.00. This allows us to have more stations to accommodate the outpouring of volunteers that want to help pack. Our need no longer is in getting enough people to pack the food, but in raising the needed money to pay for the four ingredients that go into each life saving bag (soy, veggies, rice, vitamins). We hold several fundraisers throughout the year with many surrounding communities that fundraise as well. We started out raising $25,000.00 and have raised it each year with our highest year being last year at $45,000.00. This is a yearly event. It can be difficult for an are like Southwest Wisconsin to raise this kind of money, but we are hopeful we will make our goal.
