English as a Second Language Tutors
Attend our new volunteer orientation session to learn more about how you can become an ESOL (English as a Second or Other Language) tutor with the Literacy Council of Buncombe County.
Volunteer tutors in the ESOL program should be willing to commit to working with a student for one year, two hours a week. We match students and tutors based on availability and location! You do not need to speak a second language to tutor.
All orientation sessions will be held monthly at the Literacy Council of Buncombe County.
