Volunteer: North Buncombe Middle Community Nights featuring Homework DinersCommunity Nights featuring Homework Diners are a welcoming family engagement event at the school that take place on the North Buncombe Middle School campus and includes a free, catered meal for families and students, time for relationship building between school staff and families, academic tutoring support and connections to community resources. Community Nights are open to any family in the North Buncombe community, whether they have a child attending the school or not. The North Buncombe Middle Community Nights occur on twice a month on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 pm. Each day will have 3 slots available for a 2-hour shift. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 4:45 pm and leave at 6:45 pm to assist with setting up and breaking down the event.
