Volunteer Opportunity: Day of Caring! We invite you to join us for Day of Caring on Friday, September 19th. This event is an opportunity to come together as a community and provide valuable support through service. You are invited to attend the Day of Caring and United Way Awards breakfast that morning at Ole Zims at 8:30 a.m.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Helping seniors with tasks inside/outside/around the house. Tasks could include, but are not limited to:
- Yardwork-mowing, pulling weeds, etc.
- Hanging curtains
- Light cleaning in the household
- Fixing minor things around the house
Who Can Participate:
All individuals are welcome to volunteer. No prior experience is required.
You can sign up for as much time as you would like; you do not have to volunteer the entire 6 hours.
