Volunteer: ABCCM Crisis Ministry (Downtown Asheville) Food PantryPlease do not show up unless you have personally spoken with a Volunteer Coordinator, training is required. You are invited to help out at our Crisis Ministry by organizing our food pantry and creating food boxes for those who need them. Shifts are generally Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-12:30PM or 12:30PM-4:30PM but we will gladly work with your schedule. Volunteer Responsibilities: Sort and stock donations (food, hygiene items, clothing, household goods). Check expiration dates and ensure food safety standards are met. Assemble food boxes for distribution. Restock shelves and organize pantry areas to keep them tidy and accessible. Monitor inventory and report low-stock items to staff or the coordinator.
