Winnebago County Sheriff Citizens Academy Alumni

Every year the Winnebago County Sheriff's Dept. hosts a Citizens academy that anyone can register to be in. You devote 13 weeks of learning all the different fields of the department and you get to do what they do it truly is a great class. After you complete the class we offer them to join our group and continue to be apart of the group. We meet every other month January - June when we meet we also have a training schedule so we continue to have updated training which is awesome. 
We do multiple fundraising activities to help raise funds to give back to the sheriffs dept. 

We help the sheriff's department with special events if additional help is needed. We also 2 times a year we host Employee Appreciation Picnic and Holiday meal to show appreciation to all staff for all they do.
