Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together. Safe Families for Children is fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families.

We come alongside a family in crisis by providing a coach to help them get back on their feet, housing their children (for a short period of time) if necessary so they are free to deal with their crisis, or providing a friend to help them through their isolation. All of this is to protect children by keeping them safe and hopefully out of foster care.
