Junior Achievement of South Central PA

Junior Achievement of South Central PA provides financial literacy and career readiness programs to student in Pre-K through 12th grade in 14 counties in south Central PA, including Lebanon County. This year over 8,000 volunteers will deliver JA lessons to over 110,000 PreK-Grade 12 students. All programs are provided free of charge to schools.

At Junior Achievement of South Central PA (JA) our mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. We envision a world where students complete school with the skill set and mindset to build thriving communities. We bring a different approach to education that uses innovation and contextual learning in partnership with educators, employers, and the community at large. In the end our promise is to provide learning experiences that help young people reach their full potential. The inspiration piece of our mission comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their own life experiences. In the process, these volunteers serve as role models helping to positively impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills.
