The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums is America’s first presidential library and the forerunner for the federal presidential library system. HPLM is located at President Hayes’ 25-acre wooded estate, called Spiegel Grove.
What We Do
The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums illuminates the lives and era, legacy and family of President and First Lady Hayes; interprets the American Presidency; preserves Spiegel Grove; and relates the importance of each to modern America.
