OnTrack Financial Education and Counseling

Mission: To help people reach their financial and housing goals so they can overcome crises, afford basic needs, improve money management skills, and make sound financial choices rooted in their values.

OnTrack WNC Financial Education & Counseling (OnTrack WNC) is a private, nonprofit agency providing financial education, counseling, and support in 18 counties in western North Carolina.

OnTrack WNC provides education and counseling on strategies for building credit, paying down debt, buying a home, creating a budget and spending plan, and avoiding foreclosure. Additionally, special programs include:

• Tax Preparation Program: Assistance for eligible families in filing Federal and State tax forms.
• Employee Financial Wellness Program: Partnerships with local businesses to support employees by providing financial education classes, credit improvement clinics, matched savings programs, and housing assistance programs.
