Who We Are

Mission: To provide equitable access to care and reduce harm from HIV, Hepatitis C, and drug use.

The Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP) is dedicated to preventing new cases of HIV/AIDS and promoting self-sufficiency in people living with HIV. WNCAP provides HIV-related client support, prevention, education and advocacy activities guided by the belief that all people are entitled to equal access to health care and disease prevention.

What We Do

WNCAP provides support services, HIV Prevention, and Care to 18 counties across Western North Carolina. Our services include case management, emergency financial assistance for eligible individuals, access to medication, HMAP enrollment, prevention education, and STI testing. WNCAP also offers innovative age-appropriate education programs and HIV/AIDS education materials for schools, worksites & community groups.
