Baby Equipment and Resources (BEAR) Closet

Mission: To help families who need assistance caring for their infants, toddlers, and young children. 

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Baby Equipment and Resource Closet (B.E.A.R. Closet) is a nonprofit organization working to provide baby supplies to community families in need. The B.E.A.R. Closet is a partnership between the church’s members, families of St. Paul’s Preschool, and the community it creates. 

The B.E.A.R. Closet provides equipment and supplies that cover critical needs of infants and young children and their families, either distributed at no charge or loaned to the families. Examples of available supplies include:

• Baby bottles, child dishes, and utensils
• Breastfeeding supplies 
• Bassinets, cribs, portable playard/sleepers, and linens
• Mobiles
• Bath tubs, towels, soap
• Infant and toddler car seats
• Clothing
• Diapers, pullups, wipes
• Diaper bags
• High chairs, booster seats
• Strollers
• Swings, bouncers, standers, activity centers
• Toys & books
