Junior Achievement of South Central PA has various volunteer opportunities in South Central PA, including Lebanon County. The programs are held at the schools except JA BizTown; JA Biztown is held at 610 S. George St. York, PA
Our programs span K-12 and focus on entrepreneurship, personal financial literacy, and workforce readiness. Our volunteer-led programs allow volunteers to share their personal and work experiences bringing real-world relevance into the classroom and bridging the gap between the education and business worlds. This sharing brings the curriculum to life for students, helping them not only to better understand the JA lessons, but also to make the correlation between a solid education and the opportunities it provides.
We provide training for all programs.
Fundamentals – elementary programs; 5 sessions; clearances required
JA BizTown – one-day volunteers needed. Grades 5-6. Approximately 8:30-2:00
JA YES! – half-day volunteers needed. Grades 6-8. Approximately 7:30-11:15AM
JA STEM Summit – one-day volunteers needed. Grades 9-10. Approximately 8:00-2:00
JA REAL Life – one-day volunteers needed. Grades 11-12. Approximately 8:00-2:00
