Side Walkers assist during equine-assisted riding sessions. They will assist program participants with maintaining balance and control and interpreting directions given by the Riding Instructor during lessons.
Side Walkers and horse handlers are needed the following days and times-
Mondays: 4:30- 7pm
Tuesdays: 4:30-7pm
Wednesdays: 4:15- 8pm
Feel free to volunteer for the full class or partial shifts
We will never have classes the last week of the month. If riders do not show up for their class time, we have other tasks for volunteers. Please fill out our volunteer application and either bring with you or send via email to Shelly.beaming@gmail.com so you can get scheduled for one of our volunteer training sessions.
