Are you passionate about creating safer, healthier communities and supporting survivors of sexual violence? Reach Counseling is currently seeking new Board of Directors members who bring expertise in finance, legal, HR, and event planning to help guide and support our mission. We are particularly interested in leaders who are:
- Skilled in event planning and fundraising to support our annual gala, Utopia
- Knowledgeable in financial oversight or legal compliance
- Experienced in human resources and nonprofit leadership

Reach Counseling is a trusted sexual assault service provider serving Winnebago, Outagamie, and Calumet counties. We are a trauma-informed, culturally responsive agency offering counseling, victim advocacy, prevention education, and offender treatment. As a board member, you’ll be part of a team that ensures this critical work is sustainable and impactful.
Board Details:
- Term Length: 3-year terms (eligible to serve up to 2 terms).
- Meetings: Monthly board meetings held the last Monday of each month from 5:00–6:30 PM (hybrid format).
- Committees: All board members serve on at least one sub-committee: Finance, Governance, or Event Planning.
- Time Commitment: ~2-3 hours/month total (includes board and committee meetings).
- Annual Giving: We ask for a personally meaningful donation each year and strive for 100% board giving.
- Special Events: Attendance at our annual fundraising event, Utopia (October 11, 2025), is highly encouraged.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities. Ideal candidates will bring diverse perspectives and:
- A passion for Reach’s mission
- Leadership experience and community connections
- The ability to contribute time, ideas, and resources
- Skills in one or more of the following: finance/accounting, law, human resources, event planning, or fundraising
You’ll be joining a dedicated board that includes professionals in mental health, strategic planning, governance, and representatives from Winnebago and Outagamie County Boards—with guidance from board advisor Kathi Seifert of Katapult Consulting.
