Composition & Tenure: 8–12 members serving three-year renewable terms. Expectations of Board Members: • Attend at least 75% of board meetings. • Participate in board giving annually. • Participate in all major fundraising events and advocacy efforts. • Contribute 2+ hours/month outside of meetings to committee or organizational work. • Complete annual training (fundraising, nonprofit governance, communications, etc.). Officers: • President – Leads Board, presides over meetings. • Secretary – Maintains records, minutes, and official notices. • Treasurer – Oversees finances and reporting. Officers serve two-year terms, renewable up to three consecutive terms.
