Empowered Tutoring, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is seeking part-time independent contractor tutors in all high school subjects including high school math (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry), Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics), English and History in the Fox Valley area (Neenah, Appleton, Kaukauna, Green Bay). Empowered Tutoring provides one-on-one tutoring assistance to students K-12 who come from economically disadvantaged families. Qualified candidates will be current or retired teachers, (or professionals with a 4-year degree specific to a subject area) who are willing and able to create relationships and instruct. Our tutoring takes place at school campuses or at public libraries in study rooms. Curriculum, if necessary, will be provided by Empowered Tutoring. Tutors typically work 2 - 8 hours per week, depending on need and availability of the tutor.
