Our mission at Ohio Invention League is to empower students and educators throughout the state to embrace innovation through the Invention Cycle. From identifying real-world problems to crafting ingenious solutions, our young inventors go through a transformative journey that culminates in regional, state, and U.S. National competitions.
We are in search of passionate individuals like you to join us as mentors for these budding innovators. Your experience and expertise can truly ignite the spark that fuels an innovation mindset in our students. By providing guidance and support as they enhance their prototypes and presentations, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of these aspiring inventors.
Mentors will meet on Zoom with an OIL moderator and one or two other mentors. Up to three student inventions will be presented during the one hour session. Mentors will give feedback to student inventors to help them prepare for National competition. Previous experience is not required.
