Who We Are
On October 1, 2018, three legacy organizations, Homeless Connections, Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities, and the Fox Valley Warming Shelter, came together to become Pillars, with a goal to increase our impact in the community by providing services that better meet the needs of individuals and families facing homelessness and challenges to maintaining housing. Today, Pillars provides shelter, support and solutions to address the housing needs in our community through a broad range of both crisis housing and stable housing services.
What We Do
We envision a creative, compassionate community that collaborates to find innovative, effective solutions so experiences of homelessness are rare and brief and everyone has a place to call home.
From homelessness to coming home, Pillars provides shelter, support, and solutions to address the housing needs in our community.
Pillars utilizes volunteers on a daily basis; whether it be preparing and serving a hot meal, monitoring the front desk, redirecting clients and donors to where they need to be, or providing home restoration to one of the 100+ properties that Pillars owns throughout the Fox Cities. Pillars has over 25,000 volunteer hours each year, and we cannot wait to have you join the volunteer corps!
