Help feed the guests at Lazarus House, our local homeless shelter! You can sign up for a slot to feed 10 people for an entrée (casserole, pulled pork, sandwiches, pizza, etc.), a side dish (a rice/potato/noodle dish, garlic bread, etc.), and/or a vegetable or salad. We come together as a group the THIRD WEDNESDAY oof each month to provide the meal. Each evening, we hope to gather enough food to feed 60 guests. This is a great activity for a group to do or just sign up for what you are able to do and others can fill in the rest!
Directions for food delivery: Please deliver dinner items around 6pm, hot and ready to serve in 13x9 disposable aluminum pans to 214 Walnut St. St. Charles, IL. Ring the bell at door #1. Staff will help to carry inside. Thank you for providing a delicious meal for our guests!
Instead, if it's easier, you can drop off at 4pm or earlier that day, that way they have time to reheat. When dropping off please let staff know you are dropping off a scheduled dinner from Batavia United Way! With advanced notice, Batavia United Way staff is also able to pick up from Amcor that day and deliver for you.
