Join us to help limited-income families save money on their rising energy bills while learning how to make their homes more energy-efficient AND reduce our overall carbon footprint to address climate change! Energy Savers Network needs volunteers to weatherize low-income homes in and around Buncombe County, NC.
Our Volunteers meet us at a new client home each day to implement energy-efficiency upgrades like replacing light bulbs, adding water aerators to sinks, sealing windows and doors (with caulk and door weather stripping), and much more. Work with a small team of staff and volunteers on any day(s) of your choice - Tuesday-Friday 10am - 3pm. All experience levels are welcome - we appreciate "handy" helpers but we're always happy to teach new skills too!
To learn more, signup for this opportunity and we will get in touch with you to schedule a day of your choice on our website calendar (includes a map option to show locations near you)! Come learn new skills and enjoy meeting new people in the process!
